and thusly concludes the best fucked up summer ever.

tonight marks my last night as a permanent resident of washington. in roughly ten hours (and after breakfast with the most adorable person in the world, alex), i'll be venturing down the coast and through the desert to begin my new life in flagstaff. i am now a junior at Northern Arizona U, trading in the puget sound for the grand canyon.

this summer began rather horribly - a "surgical mishap" nearly claimed my mommy, and continued on a rocky course in the following months. i've made some new friends, reconnected with some old ones and sadly lost one or two. but mainly, i've spent this summer under the stars of ruston way and hiding behind triple grande mochas. granted, there have been a few isolated incidents which i fully regret - but overall, this summer has left me in a bedazzled and enchanted daze. And whatever meets me in Flagstaff.. i will handle with grace and poise.
